I am not against people having guns. I am against them shooting me. In fact, if pressed, I'll admit that I oppose the shooting of most people.
Here is the deal, gun rights advocate friends: you come up with a set of policies that dramatically reduces gun crime (in a real, measurable way, not a hypothetical only-a-good-guy-with-a-gun-can-stop-a-bad-guy-with-a-gun way) without restrictions on gun ownership. If your policy works, you and your friends get to keep all your guns without licensing.
